Susan Deckler is a civilian in the Fleet.
According to Cally Tyrol, with whom she apparently has a relationship with, Deckler has a younger daughter.
Prior to being rescued from the slowly depressurizing airlock on deck 14, Tyrol asks Admiral William Adama to give her son, Nicholas Tyrol, to Deckler in the event that she and her husband, Galen, do not survive the rescue attempt (A Day in the Life).
