Battlestar Wiki:Leave of Absence

This is a proposed policy for Battlestar Wiki. This non-policy is considered by the community and its leadership is to be considered for the status quo of Battlestar Wiki, though changes to it can be discussed on the appropriate talk page.

This covers leave of absence for Battlestar Wiki administrators.

Overview

Since administrators may have real-life emergencies or responsibilities that take them away from contributing to the wiki, a process is in place that makes them exempt from admin-level decisions. This does not mean that they will have their administrator privileges revoked, it merely means that they are excused from admin-level decisions.

An administrator leave of absence may be voluntarily invoked or invoked after a one-month (30 day) period of inactivity.

Also, this page exists to document who is on leave, so that contributors know what administrators are actively "on duty", without disturbing those who may not be available to assist.
