Welcome to Battlestar Wiki!
Welcome to the Wiki, AerynSun44, Mrs.Ron's personal Hall Monitor! :) Good to see more people from the official site here. Feel free to tell us about yourself on your user page. Before you get started on other edits, please read the Battlestar Wiki:Standards and Conventions, which details the policies we use in editing pages (this differs from many other wikis in consistent use of phrasing, abbreviations, format, and the like).
Also, if you have any questions or suggestions you wish to offer, please feel free to do so either on your user talk page, the Wikipedian Quorum or Administrators' noticeboard. Remember to sign your posts on any talk pages using four tildes (~~~~)! --The Merovingian (C - E) 23:00, 1 April 2006 (CST)
Would you like me to set up a character-bio box for you on your User page? (to display your Hall Monitor status, etc.)?--The Merovingian (C - E) 13:32, 2 April 2006 (CDT)
- Oh, would you? That would be fantastic. AeynSun44
- Merovingian, thanks for the jump start. --AerynSun44 14:26, 2 April 2006 (CDT)

Link?
Maybe a link to the hall that you monitor would be appropriate? (I couldn't figure out their syntax for showing the "latest" page, but didn't want it tied to page 84 or whatever).
Also, since I'm already here... Has anybody considered sifting through the above linked hall (Mrs. Ron's thread(s)) in order to catalog any bits of information about BSG she has discussed? While not as directly canon as onscreen evidence or an RDM blog, I'd say statements from Mrs. Ron could be argued to fall under #3 of the source hierarchy. We could gather it all in one place as a source (which would be a bit unusual), or spread them out to whatever topics they are relevent to, or possibly a hybrid (gather them in one spot as a "holding ground" until an appropriate article is located to move it to). Just an idea...
Glad that you've made this your playground! Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty, or make a mess. The Eternally Vigilant will surely help clean up any errant sand or sillystring. --Steelviper 15:02, 4 April 2006 (CDT)
- Verily, I am Vigilant, though my Vehement Venture for Veracity in this 'Viron maybe Vengeful, it is not Verbatim Verbiage. Well actually SteelViper I've been in that thread a lot too, and it's really more of a discussion of existing BSG stuff. I mean we're debating like Adam Smith vs Rousseau, and existentialism and Mario Savio and whatnot. It's fun, but I don't know if there's anything that would serve the wiki. I don't know. Things are a lot different these days what with blogs and doodads and such than back in the day. (BTW, Aeryn said I had permission to format her user page because she didn't know, so I'll help out with that) --The Merovingian (C - E) 15:54, 4 April 2006 (CDT)
- I did notice the rambling/stream of conciousness flow of that thread... I guess I had hoped there might be some "secrets" buried in there, but hadn't really taken the time to go through all 84 pages. I'll take your word for it, though. If she does say anything noteworthy though, please note it on the wiki (this is more directed at anybody who's reading this than just Merv). (I figured you two had an arrangement, but I wouldn't presume to modify it myself, not being a party to that understanding. Thanks for adding the link, though, and I hope she'll like it.) --Steelviper 16:02, 4 April 2006 (CDT)
