Anne Collins is the original writer of "The Day They Kidnapped Cleopatra," the last Galactica 1980 episode in production during which ABC issued the show's cancellation order. After the script was initially shelved, she moved on to other shows. When the script was reactivated, it was rewritten by Mark Jones, Chris Bunch, and Allan Cole. Anne was never made aware that her script had become active again, nor that it was rewritten by Mark Jones, Chris Bunch, and Allan Cole.
Collins worked with Glen Larson as a story consultant in Buck Rodgers in the 25th Century, writing the episode "Vegas in Space" and coming up with the story of "Cosmic Whiz Kid".
