Portal talk:Overview

Discussion page of Portal:Overview

Layout

I'm not sure how this is supposed to look, but linking to the introduction sections seems the most sensible

  1. The site looks fine now, but there are no links in the table to get to the actual portals. Maybe there could be a "...more" link?
  2. Portal:Colonials is completely broken as well, and I have no clue how to fix that.
  3. The intro of Portal:Cylons is too long. There should be a separate section for the second paragraph, so it doesn't stretch the Overview table.

There are links to all portals, they're on top of the page. Because it can't hurt, I linkyfied the headers. You're also right about Portal:Cylons and Portal:Colonials. The former will need to be concised (you or Spence could do that), and I'll look into the mess that is Portal:Colonials. --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 14:57, 14 June 2007 (CDT)
Yeah, I know that there are links at the top. But when reading those introduction boxes and then deciding to actually visit the portal, it's convenient to have a link right there, instead of having to go to the menu at the top which isn't that prominent. I'll look into the Cylon portal. --Serenity 15:00, 14 June 2007 (CDT)
I looked into Portal:Colonials, and get this: no content whatsoever has been created for it. Nothing. I'll post a notice on its talk page that pretty much the entire portal needs to be written. --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 15:12, 14 June 2007 (CDT)
Yeah, I just had that idea myself :) The Cylon portal is fixed as you probably see. It looks a bit ugly in the Overview portal though, with the text fragment top right. --Serenity 15:15, 14 June 2007 (CDT)
