Appreciation
I appreciate you recent contribs, and hope you add more in the future. I know that you have a lot to contribute. --FrankieG 10:08, 5 August 2006 (CDT)
- Thanks again; do you have any more of these?--The Merovingian (C - E) 10:16, 5 August 2006 (CDT)
I sure do. Thanks for the support guys. And I did get permission from Ian Cullen on August 4 to post his 2002 interview with RDM. I would also like to post any "unconfirmed rumors" that I announce on Shaunomac's S2D show. Would that be a problem? Koenigrules 10:55, 5 August 2006 (CDT)
- We have develop a really strict policy (see Citation Jihad) about everything has to be officially sourced. Maybe we can "advertise" your appearances on the show? We should be able to come up with some way to get people pointed toward them somewhere. Other ideas? --FrankieG 10:55, 5 August 2006 (CDT)
- More interviews and info would be excellent, but I really think that you shouldn't post any "unconfirmed rumors". After that big arguement in April, we had a discussion over how to deal with the ongoing problem of "how do we know if someone is passing along an honest rumor, or is just some livejournal girl making stuff up about Roslin and Adama getting married, etc? So now unless a cast or crew member can be directly cited as saying something, we don't post it. We don't post unsourced stuff that appears on S2J...and we don't even post like, spoilers from TVGuide which can't be confirmed-->I.e. if TV guide has a David Eick interview we'll use that, but if like Mike Ausellio says "there are rumors that Ellen Tigh is going to die"...to be honest I think TVguide and others are often just using you and S2J as their info source (which is cool for you, I think) but ultimately we thought the way to avoid any future conflicts over whether or not unsourced stuff is true is simply to have a really strict "only cited cast or crew" policy on that. It's a bit limiting, but I support it because I think it would lead to less future conflict. --The Merovingian (C - E) 10:58, 5 August 2006 (CDT)
