I have just been made an IRCOP on a new IRC network set up by some of my friends in Autralia. If people are still keen to have some kind of IRC chat room then this is something that I could relatively easily set up. --Mercifull 08:49, 23 June 2006 (CDT)

Never been a fan of IRC, but would be interested in this case.--FrankieG 09:02, 23 June 2006 (CDT)
The particular network my friend runs also has a webcased client so people dont need to download mIRC, XChat or ChatZilla if they dont want do --Mercifull 09:05, 23 June 2006 (CDT)
Don't know much about IRC. Is there a way to admin a channel? what I won't care for is more idiotic conversation like on the Usenet or certain unnamed forums? Or maybe that's not what IRC is for? Thanks --FrankieG 09:16, 23 June 2006 (CDT)

I'm already an admin on Undernet - have been for the past 6 years :) --Fordsierra4x4 10:17, 23 June 2006 (CDT)

What network address? --Shane (T - C - E) 10:22, 23 June 2006 (CDT)
Use server mesa.az.us.undernet.org and channel #macintosh-adults. Anyone from here welcome - although best to use your wiki names to save on confusion... --Fordsierra4x4 10:48, 23 June 2006 (CDT)

Regarding this

The IRC channel is not official. We are still working on the finer details at the Think Tank on this. Therefore, I've reworded Matt's note on it, to avoid confusion. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 17:01, 29 September 2006 (CDT)
