Maybe it's me, but I feel like the article implies that Hybrids come only in that form, while I think they could very easily come in various forms. We'll probably find out next time we see a Hybrid, but it may be worthy of noting that although CC is often a bad source, they do include "Female Hybrid" at the start of her speech.
