A journalist, formerly of the Caprican Times, now anchor host of the wireless broadcast show The Colonial Gang (Colonial Day).
No fan of Laura Roslin, Macmanus tends to be harsh in his criticism of her, her policies and her staff. Whether this is a reflection of his real feelings towards her, or whether his is simply playing to the audience is unclear.
