Might be a good idea to create a redirect from "Matthias" (two t). I think both versions exist. Not sure if she was identified in the end credits. I got the name from the podcast. --Serenity 11:02, 16 October 2006 (CDT)

obscure podcast reference

As soon as I finalize the podcast transciption I'll add a note about who this character was named after:
"And she's actually named after the high school superintendent that preceded my father at Chowchilla Union High. His name was Jim Mathias and I just decided to name it after him."
