Not an official question, but just out of curiosity, how did you first find BattlestarWiki? (That is, when you came to correct us about the spelling of Racetrack's name).  Thanks.  --The Merovingian (C - E) 11:07, 27 July 2006 (CDT)

Welcome to Battlestar Wiki!

Welcome to the Wiki, Ngarenn. Feel free to tell us about yourself on your user page. Before you get started on other edits, please read the Battlestar Wiki:Standards and Conventions, which details the policies we use in editing pages (this differs from many other wikis in consistent use of phrasing, abbreviations, format, and the like).

Also, if you have any questions or suggestions you wish to offer, please feel free to do so either on your user talk page, the Wikipedian Quorum or Administrators' noticeboard. Remember to sign your posts on any talk pages using four tildes (~~~~)! We look forward to your contributions to the community! --Shane (T - C - E) 15:12, 7 June 2006 (CDT)

Hello. If you are indeed Bradley Thompson, writer of such DS9 classics as "Rules of Engagement", "Inquisition", and "Treachery, Faith, and the Great River", BSG's pilot-centric episodes such as "The Hand of God", "Scar", and the ever popular "Downloaded".....yay! (my head explodes) However, you must understand that as this is an open content site potentially anyone could join up here and claim to be Bradley Thompson. I have an easy way to confirm this: I correspond with Ron's wife Terry on the official messageboard (where she is known as "Mrs. Ron"). If you are Bradley, please tell Ron, to tell Terry, who can then foward the confirmation to me on the messageboard. --The Merovingian (C - E) 11:54, 8 June 2006 (CDT)

Well - Now that the identity has been confirmed, i'd like to congratulate and welcome Bradley Thompson to the wiki! :) --Fordsierra4x4 17:15, 8 June 2006 (CDT)

And thanks for such "sat on the edge of the chair" action and such moving drama ^_^ --Mercifull 17:17, 8 June 2006 (CDT)
Excellent: confirmation is on this page: Sources:Affidavit on the identity of User:Ngarenn --The Merovingian (C - E) 20:58, 8 June 2006 (CDT)
Thank you all - hope I'll be able to contribute without messing things up. Ngarenn 13:21, 9 June 2006 (CDT)
We're just glad to have you! Contribute all you want, and the janitors will mop where necessary. --Steelviper 13:23, 9 June 2006 (CDT)
We created a page where we ask questions... here. Have you seen your article yet: Bradley Thompson. Glad to have ya here also! :) --Shane (T - C - E) 13:35, 9 June 2006 (CDT)
Stuff to start out with: when you edited Racetrack's page you spoke in the first person ("I told the art department") We are by no means some officially licensed "Encyclopedia", we're just fans, but we're trying our hardest to fool everyone into thinking we are! :) So we try to make everything formalized by writing in the third person: I.e. "Bradley Thompson said..." etc. For example, Trek writer Mike Sussman actually contributes to the Star Trek Wiki: When he was talking about the writer's room backround discussions between himself and Berman on this section, he uses third person. Hmm...oh yeah, and to link things, use double brackets like this: Final Cut . That's about all you need in short: I didn't know how the frak wiki-code worked when I got here when the show began; it's pretty intuitive. --The Merovingian (C - E) 14:40, 9 June 2006 (CDT)
The Tutorial here is usefull with the markup page. --Shane (T - C - E) 21:52, 9 June 2006 (CDT)
