Rylo was a male Colonial Viper pilot in his early forties, a dour and wry fighter ace quick with a quip and a laser cannon, an unflappable veteran who had seen it all. Rylo served aboard the Battlestar Galactica as a pilot in Red Wing. Rylo and his wingmates (pilots Lukas, Shane and Tybalt) were all lost when a Cylon force ambushed them over the ice planet Nimbus. However, rumours continued to persist for several years that Rylo had in fact survived a crash landing on Nimbus only to be captured by the Cylons. His fate, for now, remains unknown.
Note
The "Battlestar Galactica" video game has its own continuity that uses elements from both the Original Series and the Re-imagined Series.
Actor Richard Hatch, who played "Captain Apollo", provided the voice for the character of Rylo.
