: That's fine, however the "Episode Reviews" page needs to have these warnings — like the fan fiction does — too. Actually, if that format is used, I really don't have an issue with it at that point. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 19:31, 18 March 2012 (EDT) |

I created this page. My thinking was that other people could use their user pages to write episode reviews if they wanted to, and they could create a link for them here. At the very least, this page allows people to find my own episode reviews (Sheba's Galaxy). So I would prefer that this page not be deleted. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Galactica1981 (talk • contribs).
- Just to make a few things clear:
- Frankly, having people post reviews of the episodes on the Battlestar Wiki runs against our mandates, which are to be an encyclopedia, reference material, and episode guide. Battlestar Wiki is not a personal soapbox for people's reviews of the series, although we provide critical analysis (with caveats and exceptions) and notes as to the events depicted in the various series, but we should really not venture into online reviews. We don't give episodes "star ratings" or things of that nature, since those are extremely subjective measures, and we don't want to muddy the water by doing that.
- Now, if the reviews are posted on your own user page, or user subpage, that's fine. I wouldn't be necessarily opposed to an "Episode Reviews" page, as so long as it is made clear that the list is only a basic guide to what reviews are out there. (In the same way we have an article on fan fiction, which makes it perfectly clear that it isn't in our mandate to chronicle fan fiction.) -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 11:09, 18 March 2012 (EDT)
