Founders' Day is the official groundbreaking ceremony for the first permanent buildings in New Caprica City. It is conducted by President Gaius Baltar and attended by many civilians, as well as former and present military personnel.
The celebrations continue long into the night with an open bar, music and dance (Unfinished Business).
