Actually, considering that the fleet invariably loses more pilots as time goes on. He's probably back in service now. Rather than "serving a lengthy sentence in Galactica's Brig". As Apollo said in the last episode of season two, (to paraphrase) "We've found creative ways to let people off the hook.... Forgiven", I don't think Joe's an exception to this rule. --[[User:Sixu|Sixu]] 08:54, 13 October 2007 (CDT)

We should note that he also recklessly endangered the lives of the crew on the Raptor he sabotaged. That's the biggest thing that makes his holding a gun to Tigh's head greatly different than Apollo's. --Peter Farago 12:16, 27 September 2005 (EDT)

Actually, Palladino's mental state probably contributed to his reckless disregard for fellow pilot lives. With counselling and a period of confinement, he could find forgiveness and return as a contributing member of the fleet. A military court on Galactica could allow for mental state to be included in any sort of trial, so it's possible we may see Palladino on duty again, albeit most likely demoted, maybe a junior grade LT or a deckhand. --Ltcrashdown 22:44, 2 February 2006 (EST)
