If you're reading this, it's probably because I verified your podcast and you want to know who the hell changed all that stuff. Here's what I'm doing, tell me if I should be doing something else:
: How do you do bullets? I've got to find a page with bullets...
: Before I make a change, I've listened to the relevant portion at least three times. Once, to ID the part that reads wrong. The second time to hear if what's being said is actually on the page. The third time to make sure that what I think is being said is actually there. Repeat as necessary. I only make a change if I'm convinced that my interpretation is more likely the correct one.
: I also note the timecode of that portion in the change description. I'm pretty exact about it (like I said, I've listened to it a bunch, and I've got the time down.) If I get lazy, I'll mark it with a tilde (e.g., "~38:45".) In either case, fire up the podcast, go to a few seconds before the time noted, and listen along. If you think you're right, revert it. If I disagree, I'll just note it in the discussion page.
: I only mark simple typos as minor.
