Audio Project
Many of our pages here at the Battlestar Wiki are relatively stable, meaning that they are not revised on a major level (such as your massive rewrite or addition that changes the entire focus of the article). Therefore, I am looking for people who can offer an audio version of our more stable pages.
In order to coordinate such an effort, we would create the project page, Battlestar Wiki:Audio Development, and establish a set of guidelines that would be adhered to. Obviously, people who have good oral presentation skills -- and maybe those who don't often contribute with text or images -- would no doubt be quite useful to us in this endeavor.
The point of having an audio-version of Battlestar Wiki would be to eventually create an audio version of the Wiki that would be distributed on CD available for download.
Additional benefits would include:
- aiding the visually impaired fans in using Battlestar Wiki as a resource to learn more about the series;
- and having people who would rather listen to a text rather than read it have that option in the first place.
