  • SCI FI Announces a BSG spin off prequel series called Caprica. Check the story out here. (You have to scroll down a little to get to the story).
  • Jane Espenson, a regular writer on Buffy the Vampire Slayer who also wrote an episode for Star Trek:Deep Space Nine, will write an episode in season 3.
  • The web-series spin-off will be called Battlestar Galactica: The Resistance, and will last ten episodes. [1]
  • James Callis talks to Sci-Fi Wire about the third season. [2]
  • The Sci Fi channel has ordered a 20-episode third season, which will premiere both the US and UK in October 2006. There will be no "split" between Episode 10 and Episode 11. Production began in April 2006 in Vancouver, British Columbia.[3]
