The Ship of Lights is the spacecraft used by the Beings of Light.
The craft emit a strange piercing sound as they approach which can render Viper pilots unconscious. Given that sound cannot travel through a vacuum, it is never explained how such a noise made it to the pilot's ears (War of the Gods).
