I disagree: Legolas' name as "Greenleaf" is actually pretty well known. Either way, that's why I used the qualifier "Perhaps". I want to put this back in. (BTW, I have asked the RDM blog but this could take forever; I have been upset with the RDM blog of late: his last entry answered only 3 questions, and 2 of them has already been DIRECTLY answered; "Why don't we see the engine room?" and "where's Boxey?" were already answered months ago, and he forgot to check for this. I mean, I've got like 20 questions up there that I recently asked in rapic succession which remain unanswered, some of which would be quite useful, such as "Hey, who did the voice for the Pegasus computers? Was it some cool cameo?", etc etc. --[[User:The Merovingian|The Merovingian]] 18:04, 12 February 2006 (EST) |

About "The Notes"
Are we, at least, somewhat certain as to where this name came from? You're going out on an awefully weak limb to say that it may be from a Fantasy storyline (albeit, a really good one) from a completely different genre. For all we know, TPTB named this ship in homage to the cannibis plant... which frequents Vancouver (where the production is done) in seedy form and ways. Unless there is more substantial proof as to the origin of this name, let's keep the conjecture for discussion pages, and not for the stated article. (Removed material follows... if you find out for certain, put it back in)
- The name "Greenleaf" is perhaps a subtle referrence to Legolas of the Lord of the Rings saga, whose name means "Green-leaf" in Sindarin.
