I know this is an old discussion, but the official website still [http://www.syfy.com/battlestar/about/index.php?sub=glossary] has this device classified as a "resurrection chamber", and although the word is commonly used to refer to a room, it can also refer to something like this: "''a compartment or enclosed space; cavity: a chamber of the heart''" (dictionary.com). I know it's not exactly important, but the information has certainly lasted and it came from a reputable-enough source. So yeah, I think we should change it. --[[User:Sauron18|Sauron18]] 06:31, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

Change Name[edit]

Hey, I was checking the BSG glossary at the official site [1], and I noticed that this is called a "Resurrection Chamber". Should we change the name? --Sauron18 19:35, 13 September 2006 (CDT)

I've gone ahead and proposed the move with the move tag. Matthew 13:24, 13 July 2007 (CDT)
To me, "chamber" refers to the room, while "tank" is the tub. That it's defined as "liquid-filled chamber" there sounds a bit weird. --Serenity 13:27, 13 July 2007 (CDT)

I know this is an old discussion, but the official website still [2] has this device classified as a "resurrection chamber", and although the word is commonly used to refer to a room, it can also refer to something like this: "a compartment or enclosed space; cavity: a chamber of the heart" (dictionary.com). I know it's not exactly important, but the information has certainly lasted and it came from a reputable-enough source. So yeah, I think we should change it. --Sauron18 06:31, 7 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
