This is an archive successful proposal that was vetted through the Think Tank, a place where ideas of all kinds are proposed and worked upon by the community prior to implementation. Please do not modify this proposal.

This is the overview. Basically, a summary of what the idea is about. You can get into the details later on.

Episode number links

I propose that all Episode pages have redirects from their episode number. Example 1.01 redirects to 33.

What is the benefit of this proposal to the wiki? People searcing for the episode number (sometimes TV guides dont show the name of the episode) will be redirected to the correct article.
What is involved in implementing this idea? Simple redirect pages for 1.01-1.13 and 2.01-2.20
Who is going to do it? Mercifull, but anyone can do some if they please
Why should we do it at all? Increase usability for users who are new to the wiki
How will we use the idea? Mainly to ensure people dont get 0 results when searching
Should the proposal pass, when will work start on this idea? Before series 3
Where will this idea be implemented? (e.g. Will it be on certain types of pages or the entire Wiki in general?) Main namespace
