I think "Code Chrome" or "Code Silver" would have had a better ring to it. --18:16, 21 May 2006 (CDT)

"Code Blue" would suggest an emergency requiring the assistance of security not just that "omg its a frakking cylon" --Mercifull 03:09, 22 May 2006 (CDT)

If I had to guess, I would say it is a sort of "maximum vigilance" designator, i.e., as soon as it is invoked all personnel present are to draw weapons, prepare for violence, and otherwise watch very carefully what is happening. I too doubt it is necessarily a Cylon-specific warning, though that is possible. Clearly, it at least applies in that situation.
