Boxey (TOS) Todo

1. Bio needs to be brought into present tense.

Parentage

I am pretty sure that Serina was not Boxeys biological mother, and that she just protected him during the attack on the colonies. If I remember correctly, there was a woman who was with him that got killed. Could anybody confirm this, I dont have the episode at hand. LordHart 06:55, 5 March 2006 (CST)

Right as the attack begins she immediately cries out for "Boxey", who begins to run toward her (along with the original Muffit). After Muffit (the daggit, not the robot) and Boxey make it to Serina, Muffit breaks away and has a pillar (or some other large object) fall on him. (There doesn't seem to be any other woman involved.) Also, once they are aboard the rag tag fleet Boxey mourns for his daggit. I'd think if he lost his biological mother he would mourn for her instead of, or in addition to, his pet. There's never any talk of Serina adopting him, or him having to go to the "Orphan ship". I'd lean towards her being his mother, at least in the legal guardian sense at the time of the attack. Whether or not Boxey was actually born to her might be up for debate, but I'm not sure how relevent it'd be. --Steelviper 08:56, 5 March 2006 (CST)

Hey! :-) I have the same thoughts as LordHart, although I have no prove to it. Until reading Boxey's bio here, I also thought that Serina wasn't his biological mother. She might have been a legal guardian to the boy, as she called out for him the minute the attacks started and cared for him in the aftermath, but Serina wasn't his mother. Could it be there's another 'canon' in the books than on the show? In the end I agree with Steelviper - it doesn's really matter if she's his biological mom or not. Mention of "Troy"

Hi,
Do we have to mention the "Troy" relation as Galactica 1980 is a separate continuity of the Original Series? If I'm right, the name of "Troy" is never mentionned in the TOS episodes. I think it's better to put the relation in the Notes section. --LIMAFOX76 15:32, 11 November 2011 (EST)
