Documentation

This template is used to place info on a Battlestar Wiki article page regarding a series. It provides lower case parameters only.

Required parameters

image: The image pertaining to the series, most likely a cast photo.
title: The title of the series. (Typically filled automatically from the title of the article.)
creator: The creator of the show.
starring: The actors who star in the series. These are actors whose names are in the main title credits, which may not include often recurring characters!
composer: The person responsible for composing the music for the series.
seasons: Number of seasons the show ran. Use an Arabic numeral. No preceding 0's.
episodes: The number of episodes in the show.
episodelistid: The name of the section devoted to this series in List of all episodes.
company: The company or companies that financed and produced the series.
channel: The channel it first ran on. Do not include channels that have aired the series in syndication or repeats, because this can cause the template to become unwieldy.
US airdate: This should include the premiere date and the end date for the series run, i.e. 1980-01-27 — 1980-05-04 for Galactica 1980. Dates must be formatted in ISO 8601 YYYY-MM-DD format, e.g. 1980-01-27. Must not be wikilinked.
UK airdate: Same as the US airdate, except this reflects airings in the United Kingdom. Dates must be formatted in ISO 8601 YYYY-MM-DD format, e.g. 1980-01-27. Must not be wikilinked.
exec producer: The names of the people who were executive producers on the series. Please wikilink.
producer: The names of the people who produced the series. Please wikilink.
supervising producer: The names of the people who were supervising producers the series. Please wikilink.
associate producer: The names of the people who were associate producers the series. Please wikilink.
co-producer: The names of the people who were co-producers the series. Please wikilink.
story editor: The names of the people who were story editors in the series. Please wikilink.
prev: Previous series. Leave blank if this is not applicable.
next The next series in the chronology.

Optional parameters

dvd: If the series has been released on DVD, note the date here.
itunes: The iTunes link to the music store.
