Title

The title appears to be a reference to the national anthem of the United States of America (what so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming). But there was also a film called Twilight's Last Gleaming that could be the real reference. Does anyone know? --Tuzaa 06:03, 12 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Analysis error

The Analysis section poses this question: "Kobol appears to be a lush, habitable world. Even with the danger of Cylon attack, it's surprising that no one raises the question of resettling here, although at this early stage the reasonable presumption is that the Cylons would simply have invaded or bombed the planet, wiping out the remainder of humanity."

Cmdr. Adama does raise the possibility of a permanent settlement, during the meeting with Roslin, Baltar and others, saying that they should give the matter "serious consideration". Obviously, the encounter with the Cylon basestar during the subsequent survey mission renders the question moot. Dogger55 11:01, 28 June 2011 (EDT)
