== Welcome to Battlestar Wiki! ==
Hey! My name is Sarah. I'm new here, but I just have a few comments and questions, concerning the final cylon, that I would like to ask other fans of Battlestar Galactica. First off, I want to point out that the hybrid in Razor said, "The seven, now six, self-described machines who believe themselves without sin. But in time, it is sin that will consume them" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0991178/quotes). I'm assuming that the hybrid is talking about Number Six (a.k.a Caprica) and whoever Number Seven will be. My question is, "Who do you think is Number Seven if this is the case?" I know that, currently, Gaius Baltar is on a spiritual streak. Could he be the final cylon afterall? I've also heard rumor, and when I say rumor I do mean it literally, that Saul Tigh and Number Six will get together. Is Saul Number Seven? I'm just curious as to who the hybrid is referring to when he says that, "The seven, now six, self-described machines who believe themselves without sin." Gaius seems to fit that description, but if that's the case, then he could very well be the final cylon, despite what the rumors have said about the Last Supper photograph.

Greetings, {{PAGENAMEE}}, and welcome to Battlestar Wiki! I hope you enjoy your stay with us and am looking forward to your contributions to the Wiki! Why not begin by telling us a bit about yourself on your own [[User:{{PAGENAMEE}}|user page]]?
Now, about the final cylon.  Once again, I'm going to talk about what the hybrid in Razor said, which is, "And the fifth, still in the shadow, will claw toward the light, hungering for redemption, that will only come in the howl of terrible suffering" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0991178/quotes).  To me, even though I know that this description can fit anyone in Battlestar Galactica, this quote fits Tom Zarek almost perfectly.  He's still not revealed as the final cylon, he's looking for a better future, and he's always attempting to find redemption (as pointed out in numerous episodes).  Also, at times, he looks to find redemption through violence.  Another reason I think Tom Zarek is the final cylon is that if you notice, maybe too deeply as I suspect I have, all of the four of the final five are in sensitive positions (hint: Saul Tigh, Tory, etc.) or was some sort of leader at one point in time.  For instance, Anders was a leader of a 'war group' and Chief Tyrol was the leader of the Union on New Caprica.  Now, does this mean anything?  I'm hoping I'm on a role here.  So, Tom Zarek is Vice President which makes him one step below authority of President Roslin.  Is that not a sensitive position?  Granted that even after Laura's much suspected death in Season 4, Zarek may not become president of the colonies, but if he does, could this mean that both the cylons and humans will find Earth and will live in peace?  Especially if Tom Zarek is the final cylon?  Please give me your opinions.

As you may already know, Battlestar Wiki covers all the ''Battlestar Galactica'' series from past to present, in addition to authorized merchandise. Presently, we don't cover fan fiction, but our sister-site, [[bsp:|Battlestar Pegasus]], does so. We're also not a discussion site, although we do have an ever-growing [http://www.battlestarforum.com Battlestar Forum] where people can discuss the various shows and non-BSG topics as well!
Thank-you,

Thank-you,

Sarah
