Recent Changes tipped me off. But I guess I won't specifically welcome you, if you don't want it. I just gotta ask: Why the, to my mind, stand-offish attitude? --Day 16:06, 24 September 2005 (EDT)
:Sorry. On most wikis I mainly lurk, contributing sporadically every few months. This often results in form letters mysteriously appearing on my User_talk a long time after I join, informing me of such things as how to edit properly, when in reality I've administered my own MediaWiki; in which case I can't help but feel patronised. I have a pretty good feel for how a wiki community works already, and if necessary I know how to look up the rules and etiquette on my own, rather than needing them to be sent to me. I probably should have found a way to better articulate this, so I appologise if I seemed rude. I didn't think anyone would take it to heart. Cheers. ~ Aero 16:49, 24 September 2005 (EDT)
:: No worries. Glad to have you around, then, however sporadic you are. --Day 18:53, 24 September 2005 (EDT)
