Jill Teed is a genre actress, having appeared in a range of guest roles for the likes of "The X Files", "Stargate SG-1", "Sliders", and "The Outer Limits", as well as films such as "X2 / X-Men 2", "Mission to Mars" and "Fear of Flying". More recently she played Maggie Sawyer, a Metropolis police chief, on Smallville. She portrayed Sergeant Hadrian in the first season of Battlestar Galactica.
She currently resides in Vancouver with her young daughter.
