:: In the scene in the infirmary near the end of B&C, Nash is clearly wearing the Commander rank pins. Maybe the Colonel pins in the CIC scene should just be written off as a glitch. Rank device confusion[edit]
Joe, how do you know that the colonel/commander rank device switch was an intentional indicator of older uniform standards? Nash is undoubtedly a commander, but without more evidence, it's just a production screw-up. -- BlueResistance 15:43, 12 November 2012 (EST)
- I happen to know because ANOVOS (whom I work for) provided about 80% of the costumes and uniform devices (belts, pins, and patches) for B&C, and I was up there when they filmed this thing.
- The team decided to change things up a bit, and this is one of the subtle ways they did it. There were other changes, such as the fact that the Viper pilots helmets were also gold with silver hawk emblem, which was a nod to the original helmets from BSG. (In the BSG series, Viper pilots had silver helmets, while Raptors had bronze.) -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 15:50, 12 November 2012 (EST)
- That'll do it! Can you integrate this information into the Notes section when you get a chance? First-hand evidence is uniquely cool. -- BlueResistance 16:17, 12 November 2012 (EST)
- In the scene in the infirmary near the end of B&C, Nash is clearly wearing the Commander rank pins. Maybe the Colonel pins in the CIC scene should just be written off as a glitch. It wouldn't be the first time someone wore the wrong rank in a scene. -- David cgc 17:09, 15 January 2013 (EST)
