I was under the impression that Baltar dissolved the Quorum and that the People's Council replaced it. Can anyone confirm this? -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 17:52, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- Ron Moore talks about a bicameral system in his blog. I think we are under the assumption that the People's Council is that second chamber. That's also mentioned as possibility on Government -- Serenity 17:56, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, but it still exists. :) Shane (talk) 17:57, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- In Lay Down Your Burden Baltar complains about the 'Quorum' and 'The People's Council' as 2 different entities (which are giving him grief (along with the union)) So they BOTH exist at the same time --James968 18:51, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

The Org Chart approach clarifies nothing, and probably ought to be deleted in favor of a flow-chart "checks and balances" diagram like one of these:
- Checks and Balances in the United States: [1], [2], [3]
- Chart Showing the Separation of Powers in the Roman Constitution
