The set design of the Hub looked like the Resurrection Room seen in "Downloaded" (visible at the bottom of [http://www.3dghetto.com/al3d/bsg_web/bsg_gallery.html this page]) which doesn't fit in with any other Cylon architecture we've seen. Also, it seems quite likely that the giant room the Threes were boxed in at the end of "Rapture" was on the Hub. It's unlikely to ever be confirmed, but that might've been the intent of making the interior of the Hub look the way it did. -- [[User:David cgc|David cgc]] 16:05, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Why can't they just build a new one?  It doesn't make sense that with their (necessarily presumed) massive industrial and technological base on their homeworld (what they used to build the first fleet) they can't just build a second hub.  Nothing is irreplaceable.

::IMO Cavil's faction is probably trying to replace it off-screen, however since all the Cylons talk about it as though it's irreplaceable, I think it's safe to assume that the Significant Seven didn't make the original and do not currently have the technology necessary to replace it. -- [[User:Gordon Ecker|Gordon Ecker]] 04:20, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

There should be a good picture of the hub from this last episode. Shane (talk) 15:35, 17 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Earlier appearances of the Hub?

The set design of the Hub looked like the Resurrection Room seen in "Downloaded" (visible at the bottom of this page) which doesn't fit in with any other Cylon architecture we've seen. Also, it seems quite likely that the giant room the Threes were boxed in at the end of "Rapture" was on the Hub. It's unlikely to ever be confirmed, but that might've been the intent of making the interior of the Hub look the way it did. -- David cgc 16:05, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

IMO Cavil's faction is probably trying to replace it off-screen, however since all the Cylons talk about it as though it's irreplaceable, I think it's safe to assume that the Significant Seven didn't make the original and do not currently have the technology necessary to replace it. -- Gordon Ecker 04:20, 19 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
