It seems odd to me that people are concerned about Latin based phrases making an apperance on the show based on the fact that they're "Earth based". There are about a million things that are Earth based on that show, starting with English. If they were to explain the existance of Latin, they'd have a lot of explaining to do. Point is, I don't think that it's worth mentioning, not like anyone is trying to have everything else mentioned either. [[User:Thorn|Thorn]] 02:37, 25 January 2007 (CST)

:Agreed, I don't like that all Earth-based references are called "odd", peculiar" or "interesting", when so much of the culture and language are earth-based. That's why I already edited some of those things. Here for example I added "although several character names (like Gaius and Valerii) are also Latin". It's not like this a singular occurence. --[[User:Serenity|Serenity]] 05:19, 25 January 2007 (CST)

I'm uncomfortable with the phrasing "modern twist" here. --The Merovingian (C - E) 17:36, 31 March 2006 (CST)

Likewise. Does anyone object to striking that section entirely? --Peter Farago 18:11, 31 March 2006 (CST)
