| [[Adam]] and [[Eve]] awaken and tell {{TOS|Adama}} and [[Apollo (TOS)|Apollo]] of how they came to [[Earth (TOS)|Earth]]. Suddenly, Count [[Iblis]], {{TOS|Baltar}} and three [[basestar (TOS)|basestar]]s arrived, powered by new technology that Iblis has given them. Iblis uses his powers to make [[Sheba]] enraged at Apollo. She confronts Apollo and winds up shooting him dead. Apollo wakes up on the Ship of Lights where he again meets John of the [[Seraphs]]. He tells John that what he saw inside the crashed ship was "the body of a demonic creature - one who had the torso of a man and the hooves of a beast." Apollo convinces John to bring him back to life. Iblis teleports Baltar to Earth. Baltar shoots and kills {{TOS|Adama}}, but is chased off by Adam. In space, the battle looks grim until suddenly the odds are made even by the unexpected arrival of Commander [[Cain (TOS)|Cain]] and the ''{{TOS|Pegasus}}'', who have been sent by the Seraphs. Due to a supercannon mounted on the front of the Pegasus as well as a superweapon built into the Ark on earth, the Cylons are routed, but Iblis and Baltar escape aboard their basestar.
