== Capitalization for "[[Marines]]" ==

Just wondering, before I make changes... In order to make the articles in this Wiki consistent with each other, when is the word 'marine' suppose to be capitalized and vice versa?  Many articles capitalize the word in sentences. i.e. "...escorted by Marines".  Others do not. Which is proper?--[[User:Veepz|Veepz]] 15:35, 22 July 2007 (CDT)

== Note on capitalization (maybe it's just me) ==

Not sure how others feel about this. We use "Re-imagined Series" as proper noun, and that's correct. However, when you say "re-imagined ''Battlestar Galactica''", you use it as adjective. In that case it should stay lowercase IMHO. Though I see that it appears somewhat inconsistent and nitpicky. --[[User:Serenity|Serenity]] 16:16, 24 July 2007 (CDT)
:My first goal for this wiki was to make it more consistent, the 'little' things. I guess because they stand out to me when I read.  Sorry if I'm doing things incorrectly, and thank you for pointing them out. I've always thought "Re-imagined Series" should be capitlized per [[BW:SAC#Disambiguation|BW:SAC]](doesn't it look neater too? :P that's irrelevant anyway), but I do see where you're coming from. The purpose of having "Re-imagined Series" is to ''avoid'' having to type in "Battlestar Galactica" all the time, as well as being a way to differentiate from the Original Series (which follows the same rule). :::I noticed that too sometimes, but rarely now. Not sure if it's intentional or some markup error. There is a problem with using a certain combination of apostrophes as genuine apostrophes and italics together, which will prevent the italics from terminating correctly.
