In "Kobol's Last Gleaming" she urges Boomer to get out of the basestar when it doesn't go exactly as planned, but the two aren't in immediate danger. "Occupation" might actually be a good example at all, since there isn't really trouble. In "Torn", they find the basestars and before she even verifies their status she wants to jump out. So she doesn't escape immediate death in those episodes. If people want to think it's cowardly, why shouldn't they?
