Joe, I'm not sure if you've seen the cite extension, but this would make it much easier to document our sources. --April Arcus 00:54, 2 February 2006 (EST)

: I've been moseying around the extensions on the MediaWiki & Meta sites and happened upon this one as well; I even tried it on a test wiki I loaded on the server a few days ago.  Unfortunately, it only works on the current unstable version of 1.6. (We use the 1.5 series, and I am not comfortable with loading anything that is in alpha stages at this time.) The extension does look cool, however, and would make our lives a lot easier, and I hope that once 1.6 hits stable we can go ahead an implement it on this wiki. -- Joe Beaudoin 09:15, 2 February 2006 (EST)

Joe, I hate to be a bother, but I am politely reminding you of my request for a name change. If there is a problem, could you let me know? Thanks! --BMS 22:12, 7 February 2006 (EST)

Slander
Joe, I tried to use the "e-mail this user" in the toolbox but it said I need to be logged in with a valid e-mail address in my preferences, which I do so I don't know why I couldn't email you.  So I'll have to ask you this here.  Feel free to delete this after you read it.
I would hope that the Battlestar Wiki strives to be free of slander so I am requesting you remove the parts of Merv's posting in this thread:
http://www.battlestarwiki.org/wiki/Sources_talk:Correspondence_with_Jim_Iaccino
Where he claims that I called Jim's workplace ( I did not and he admits he was "voicing it as a possibility as I have my suspicions. It's actually probably nothing.")
Where he claims I PM'd him an abusive message (I have never PM'd him.)
Where he claims I expressed a desire to "anally rape" him (I certainly have never expressed such a desire.)
Where he claims I sent YOU a threatening e-mail (I'm sure you realise this is false.)
These claims are clearly slander and have no place on your website.  The fact that he made up a fictitious PM ((the PM "yeah I am Ribzy you frakhead and I'm going to crucify you!", was a dead giveaway...) Should tell you the depths he will sink to support his slander.
Thank you, take care and control.
