"Actual", as in "''Galactica'' Actual" or "''Pegasus'' Actual" refers to a communication between one party and the '''''actual''''' commanding officer of the other party/entity, in '''''real time'''''. Instead of communication coming from the commanding officer, and being routed through the executive officer, then through a communications operator &mdash; the other party is, instead, talking to the '''''actual''''' CO directly.
