Veena Sood is an award winning actress, of Indian descent. She has performed in numerous TV series, including Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SGI, Caprica, Lucky 7, Saving Hope as well as the feature films 50/50, The Big Year, and Canada's Touch of Pink. She made guest appearances on all three of the longest running North American science fiction series: "The X Files" (1993), "Stargate SG-1" (1997) and "Smallville" (2001).
