However, the threat ended up to be empty, since the series was canceled before this episode was ready to go in front of the cameras.
* The script, through dialogue spoken by Cleopatra while reading a display at the Museum of History, indicates that she married Julius Caesar in 46 BC. * The timeline depicted in this script is also inaccurate. * Added 8-31-25: Anne Collins is the sole originator of this episode. Her 1st draft script is dated February 19, 1980. Because it was a time travel story, it was shelved, as Larson was changing the show's direction to the Galactica Children, aka The Super Scouts. Anne moved on to other shows, so when the script was dusted off in April, Mark Jones, Chris Bunch, and Allan Cole stepped in to rewrite it and get it ready for filming. Anne was never told her script came off the shelf and spent a day and a half filming before ABC canceled Galactica 1980. Under Writer's Guild rules of the time, she should have been given the opportunity to do any rewriting. If she declined or was otherwise unavailable, then other writers would be brought in. Larson and Company skipped a step, though, and handed it off to new writers. Her 1st draft script (provided by Anne herself) will be included in a new book about Battlestar Galactica and Galactica 1980 coming in 2026.
