| *When [[Diana Seelix|Seelix]] and Tarn first appeared in the [[Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part II|season 1 finale]], they were originally just generically named "Technician #1" (Tarn) and "Technician #2" (Seelix). However, [[Aaron Douglas]], who plays Chief [[Galen Tyrol]], saw potential for the two characters, and after consulting together, they came up with names for the two characters. Douglas then just inserted their names into his lines on every take. Inevitably, [[Credits for Scattered|they were credited]] officially beginning in [[Season 2]]'s premiere. Tarn died in the [[Scattered|season 2 premiere]], with Seelix becoming a recurring character in the [[Season 3|seasons 3]] and [[Season 4|4]].
