I agree with SFM Hobbes assesment, especially in light of Razor, where the Maelstrom Mk VII was used quite prominently. We should try to avoid speculation until someone in the show actually specifies that the Mk VII from Maelstrom is a new type of Mk VII. --[[User:Kregano|Kregano]] 19:03, 4 December 2007 (CST) | I agree with SFM Hobbes assesment, especially in light of Razor, where the Maelstrom Mk VII was used quite prominently. The Maelstorm varient has been seen onscreen at the same time as the Viper 7 twice in razor and He that believeth in me, so id assume that it is a different varient. Logically id think that itd a older varient of viper than the 7, as in the Miniseries Boomer tells Apollo that "the only ships having any effect are either old or in need of a retrofit". Now by old i doubt shes refering to the 40 year old mark twos. | The Maelstorm varient has been seen onscreen at the same time as the Viper 7 twice in razor and He that believeth in me, so id assume that it is a different varient.
