It seems like both craft are claimed to have been flown by Boomer and Helo (and all their subsequent replacements). Were they all flying in both raptors? Are the raptor number designations static and unique? It seems odd that you would have the 1st and 3rd raptors ever flying alongside number 312 and 478. Is it possible that the number designations are temporary, like flight numbers on commercial aircraft (or like Air Force 1, which is the designation of whichever aircraft the president is flying in)? If a crew were working with a craft for an extended period of time it is likely that they'd have a more familiar name for it than just a number designation.
