The description of "the (questionably useful) helmet seen on Colonial Warriors in the Original Series" seems a little mean spirited. At the time the original series was made, no one had yet made a fully enclosed helmet with sufficient airflow to prevent the visor fogging up. At the time force fields were very popular in science fiction media, and I had assumed that the row of lights at the top and bottom of the face opening represented a force field being activated, which would imply the same effect as the visors used in the new helmets, while being possible within the technical limitations of the time. | The description of "the (questionably useful) helmet seen on Colonial Warriors in the Original Series" seems a little mean spirited.
