The Galleon Meadow is the location where the [[Sacred Scrolls|Scriptures]] say that the ships of the [[13 Tribes]] started their respective journeys away from [[Kobol]]. 12 went to form the [[Colonies|Twelve Colonies of Kobol]], while the 13th went in a different direction to [[Earth]].

The meadow's exact location is known, and it is the nearest definitively identified landmark on the path to the [[Tomb of Athena]]. From it, the High Road, a rocky ridge leading in the direction of the tomb, can be seen.
