'''Attila''' is a habitable [[Delta-class planet|Delta-class]] marsh planet at the far edge of [[Omega sector]].  A garrison commanded by [[Specter]] is located on the planet, ostensibly to hold the planet as a Cylon outpost in the system.

A castle once home to [[Megan]] and his family is held by a garrison of {{TOS|Cylons}}, until {{TOS|Starbuck}} crashes on the planet and helps lead Megan's children in an attack to eliminate the Cylon presence from the planet {{OS|The Young Lords}}.

== Notes ==

* In the novelization of "The Young Lords"—called ''[[The Young Warriors]]''—this planet is named [[Antila]], and was settled by pacifist outcasts from [[Scorpia]].

* [[w:Attila the Hun|Attila]] more frequently referred to as Attila the Hun, was the ruler of the Huns from 434 until his death in 453. He was leader of the Hunnic Empire, which stretched from the Ural River to the Rhine River and from the Danube River to the Baltic Sea.

:During his reign he was one of the most feared enemies of the Western and Eastern Roman Empires. He crossed the Danube twice and plundered the Balkans, but was unable to take Constantinople. He also attempted to conquer Roman Gaul (modern France), crossing the Rhine in 451 and marching as far as Aurelianum (Orléans) before being defeated at the Battle of the Catalaunian Plains.

:Subsequently he invaded Italy, devastating the northern provinces, but was unable to take Rome. He planned for further campaigns against the Romans but died in 453.

* Footage used for Attila was later re-used to depict the planet [[Paradeen]] in the {{OS|Greetings From Earth|prose=Y}}.
* The matte painting backdrop used to overlook the town of [[Serenity]] from the {{OS|The Magnificent Warriors|prose=Y}} is re-used when [[Starbuck (TOS)|Starbuck]] gives his farewell to [[Megan]] and his children. The painting of the town and key mountainous hallmarks are obfuscated by tall grass and other foliage, in addition to the [[Colonial shuttle|shuttle]]'s engine.
