Born in [[w:Glendale, California|Glendale, California]]<ref name="imdb"/>, De Longis has appeared in many genre and popular television series, including 1980s' version of ''[[w:The Twilight Zone|The Twilight Zone]]'', 1990s' version of ''[[w:The Outer Limits|The Outer Limits]]'', ''[[w:Babylon 5|Babylon 5]]'', ''[[w:The A-Team|The A-Team]]'', ''[[w:Highlander: The Series|Highlander: The Series]]'', and ''[[MemoryAlpha:Star Trek: Voyager|Star Trek: Voyager]]''.

In ''Star Trek: Voyager'', he portrayed First Maje [[MemoryAlpha:Culluh|Culluh]], a [[MemoryAlpha:Kazon|Kazon]], though this was not his first trek into the ''Star Trek'' franchise: he provided voices for various characters in [[w:Interplay Entertainment|Interplay Entertainment]]'s two ''[[MemoryAlpha:Star Trek: The Original Series|Star Trek: The Original Series]]'' games, ''[[MemoryAlpha:Star Trek: 25th Anniversary (PC)|Star Trek: 25th Anniversary]]'' and ''[[MemoryAlpha:Star Trek: Judgment Rites|Star Trek: Judgment Rites]]''.

De Longis has also been awarded with the Dramalogue Award for choreography in Mark Taper Forum's ''Julius Caesar''.<ref name="fdr"/>
