Welcome to the wiki! Thanks for the help on the Battlestar Wiki:Podcast Transcripts! That's an area we are falling behind on (because they just keep making more of them). Transcription Technique[edit]
Are you actually able to transcribe real-time? (That is to say, type it out as fast as the audio goes.) The few errors I catch are because I have to listen to each section two or three times, so I get the nitpicky stuff that I would have missed if I could keep up with the audio. Either way, it's amazing work. (And it appears to have inspired others to pitch in again, as well.) --Steelviper 23:45, 14 February 2006 (EST)
- Haha, I wish... I never even learned to type 'properly'! I'm sure there are more than a few errors, every now and then I come across a word or a phrase that I can't quite make out so I just take my best guess.
