Serisone is a medical drug applied via injector. It can prevent fluid buildup in lungs, and is carried in standard Colonial Fleet medical kits. (Scattered) This drug is most likely named to be similar sounding to Earth anti-inflammatory steroid drugs like prednisone. Based on the description of what the drug does “prevent fluid buildup in lungs” the drug is most likely Lasix (furosemide), a high ceiling loop diuretic, used to draw fluid from the lungs.
