Beyond Caprica: A Visitor's Pocket Guide to the Twelve Colonies is a book written by Bob Harris and published by DK Publishing in an in-universe manner as a tie-in to Caprica and its predecessor, the Re-imagined Series.

The book itself originated from an internal document commissioned by showrunner Jane Espenson, to be used as an internal guide on the backstories and minutiae of The Twelve Colonies of Kobol.[1]

The document was then re-edited to a smaller "pocket guide" for publication[1] and first released as a San Diego Comic-Con 2010 Exclusive for purchase at Entertainment Earth's booth for $10 USD[2]. It was sold exclusively online through the NBCUniversal Shop[1], and was later bundled with the Season 1.0 DVD set[3].
